Drink three cups of coffee daily 'cuts Alzheimer's risk by more than a quarter'
Three cups of coffee a day delays mental decline, reducing the risk of Alzheimer's disease by more than a quarter, say scientists. The amount recommended is between three and five cups a day, said the Institute for Scientific Information on Coffee (ISIC) report. Research published in 2016 suggests that moderate coffee consumption can reduce the risk of developing Alzheimer's by up to 27 percent.
