Air India starts Delhi-Madrid direct, non-stop, thrice-a-week flight
Pankaj Srivastava, Air India's Director (Commercial), while speaking at the inaugural launch of the flight said that the flight will take less than nine hours to travel the distance between Delhi and Madrid and that it would bring the two countries closer. Air India is also planning to start its flights to the Scandinavian region, the launching destination of which will either be Copenhagen (Denmark) or Stockholm (Sweden). The airline is also planning flights to Hong Kong from Mumbai.
